GapOnly® Portal and Payments functionality is grouped into two categories, each with separate pricing:

1. GapOnly® Service Fee
2. Tyro Health Online Payments

There are no fixed monthly fees with GapOnly® Portal and Payments as all fees are transaction-based, so if you do not use GapOnly® Portal and Payments in a month, there are no fees charged for that month.

Further, GapOnly® Portal and Payments has no lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees, no administration fees, no setup fees and no exit fees. If you cancel your GapOnly® Portal and Payments  account, there are no refunds on fees already incurred.

Please note, all fees are GST inclusive and displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

The GapOnly® Service Fee is the fee for claims submitted to GapOnly® using the GapOnly Vet Portal.

Eligible claims are charged at 0.80% of the total claim benefit amount, exclusive of the gap.

The GapOnly® Service Fee applies for claims which are approved by GapOnly® and the approval date determines which month fees are billed. For example, a claim submitted in July but approved in August would appear on the invoice for August.

Tyro Health Online Payments, available as part of GapOnly® Portal and Payments, enables you to accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit card payments directly from your pet parents.  

Introductory rate until 30 September 2026

The standard fee for Tyro Health Online Payments will be reduced to 1.2% of the transaction amount. The standard Fee for Tyro Health Online Payments will apply to transactions processed from 1 October 2026. 

The following standard Fees are incurred per Tyro Health Online Payments transaction (from 1 October 2026):

Merchant Service Fee (MSF): 1.7 % of the transaction amount.

Transaction Fee: $0.30 fee per transaction. This fee applies to all Tyro Health Online Payments transactions, pre-authorisations, holds and refunds, and applies to all transaction status, including approved, declined, rejected or cancelled.

When a refund is processed, a credit is added to your account for the original MSF for that transaction and a Transaction Fee is charged to process the refund (which is charged in addition to the Transaction Fee that was charged when the payment was originally processed).
