How to sign up and set up your GapOnly vet portal account

Time to complete: ~5 minutes

These instructions are to set up a new business in the GapOnly vet portal. To be added as a user to an existing business, please ask your GapOnly vet portal business administrator to send you an invite to join the existing account.

What you'll need:

  • Your clinic must already be registered with GapOnly to use GapOnly vet portal.

  • A valid Australian Business Number (ABN)

  • Your email address

  • Business details (name, phone number, address)

Step-by-step Setup

Step 1: User Details

  1. Go to the GapOnly vet portal sign-up page.

  2. Enter your email address.

  3. Enter the password you wish to use.

  4. Click Continue

Note: You can add more staff to your business later once you've completed registration.

Step 2: ABN

  1. Enter your business' ABN.

  2. Click Continue.

Step3: Business Details

  1. Enter your entity name. This should match the entity name associated with the provided ABN.

  2. Enter your business name. This is the name your clinic practices under (also referred to as a trading name).

  3. Enter your business' phone number.

  4. Enter your registered business address.

  5. Click Continue.

Note: You can set up specific clinic address' within the portal.

Step 4: Specialty and software

  1. Select your clinic's primary area of care.

  2. Select if you use a vet practice management system and if yes, select the software you use.

Your account has now been created.

What's Next?

To be able to process claims with GapOnly via the vet portal, you will need to link your practice locations to your account. To complete this process, refer to How to add locations
